Description:

• Approximately 30 cm tall
• 1 to 4 narrow leaves attached below the middle of the stem
• Small inflorescence of 3 to 7 cm long with erect branches
• In fruit – sepals curve in over the capsule
• Anthers still visible around capsule and are almost as long as perianth
• Flowers June to September

Habitat:

·        Coastal, upper limits of salt marshes

·        Below cultivated grains / legumes
